COVID UPDATE 7/7/2020
Good morning friends and families! We're excited to share some good news with everyone! We will be starting scheduled visitation with families tomorrow, July 8th. These scheduled times will be scheduled thru Ruby with activities in order to help accommodate all families.
With this starting, there are some rules that will have to be followed:
These are outdoor visits, as we are still under visitor restrictions. Please be aware of the heat.
Masks MUST be worn at ALL times during the visit. There will be no touching (hand shaking, fist bumping, hugging, etc.) allowed, and there will be designated areas with marked distances to ensure that residents are protected.
We will require hand sanitizing and disinfectant and will be sanitizing all visitor stations as well, before and after each visit.
We do ask that every visitor abides by our policies to ensure that we can continue with these scheduled family visits. We understand that everyone is very excited to see their loved ones and we're excited for it as well!
To schedule a visit please contact Ruby at 918-787-2011. They may take a message for her but she will get back with you!
Visits will take place on Wednesdays. Please be aware that these are scheduled visits so they will only be for an allotted amount of time per family in order to further protect residents and to allow time for each family to see their loved one.
Thank you all so much for being so supportive of us during this time!

Adding to the ambiance of this rural town and the main attraction is a surrounding 1500 acre lake called Grand Lake O’ Cherokees. This lake side town offers everything from fishing, sailing and water sports to simply just enjoying the lakefront lifestyle. Grove has become one of the nation’s best retirement areas based on cost of living, local and state taxes, climate, and typical household earnings. Integris Gove Hospital has over 40 physicians with a diverse medical staff encompassing numerous medical specialties. It is also one of the fastest growing areas in Oklahoma becoming home to an increasing number of retirees looking to live the Grand Lifestyle.
Update for residents and families:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your patience during this trying time. We know this has been very difficult on all those involved and everyone is more than ready to see their loved ones. We have been told that as of now we will remain in visitor restriction mode and are still under order to maintain a facility “lockdown” even past Phase 3.
That being said we would like to let you know of a few small steps we are taking within our community to ensure the residents are able to get back to some sense of normalcy. First, we will be allowing residents to return to the dining area in smaller, staggered groups. We feel this will give them some socialization yet remain consistent with distancing guidelines. We will also resume some of our community activities such as bingo, bible study, crafting, walking clubs and exercise group, all while utilizing appropriate precautions to ensure the safety of our residents.
We are continuing the use of disinfectants, hand sanitizer, and masks within the community and are continuing to monitor all staff and residents closely with temperature logs and reporting of any respiratory symptoms. If for any reason any resident is required to leave the facility the quarantine period still remains in place so we ask that your loved ones only leave if absolutely necessary.
Please know that we are working diligently to remain Covid free and are hoping to have family reunited with their loved ones soon! We will continue to offer all communication lines possible to ensure you are kept in touch with your loved ones such as facetiming, telephone calls, zoom calls and window visits. Please let us know if you need any assistance with the aforementioned activities and we will be happy to help!
